LDAP Scout Common Issues
The most common problems with using LDAP Scout are typically related to connectivity to the LDAP host. Most organizations do not allow public access to their directory resources. If you are sure of the host settings you have entered, and are still unable to connect to and search your LDAP server(s), you should check your organizations security policy to see what ports and protocols are permitted. You may need to use VPN or connect to your local network to access the directory with LDAP Scout.
